This one?

No, I meant their last generic poll.

Separately this from Wes Streeting

Sorry. Should’ve inserted the tongue-in-cheek emoji.

Re: Snap General Election called

But why would anyone want to? Best case scenario, they get one extra vote and don't get caught, woooo! We have effectively zero voter fraud - 6 alleged (not even confirmed!) cases over two elections is statistically negligible. Whether it's a despicable Tory plot or not, any solution will end up di...

Re: Snap General Election called

Anyway, I voted. And I have to say, it was insanely easy. The UK needs to introduce some kind of identification process, this is waaaay to easy to commit fraud. Any Russian could have walked up and voted in my place. It was ridiculous, I took my polling card, which the teller didn't even want to lo...

Re: Snap General Election called

The ID card bull was insane. In Hungary, you need a registration card to do anything. It’s free. It’s just easier. And the ID card is also free. Whereas a UK passport is £90. Not talking about the ID cards. The Tory proposals/trials ranged from everyday pieces of ID through to a passport/driving li...

Re: Snap General Election called

Nope. I wouldn't have said 'either way' if I had any evidence it worked one way or the other. I'm not suggesting you claimed it is a hard and fast rule, I just said you can argue it either way and people will respond differently if told about results ahead of the vote. I get what you're saying, but...

Re: Snap General Election called

That you just said people will hear they've 'won already so not bother voting'. There's a logic to it but that doesn't even qualify as anecdotal does it? Is there any sort of research done in to what causes people to not vote? Are there some figures that suggest people have been convinced enough by...

Re: Snap General Election called

They can’t count the postal votes until the polls are closed. They can count the number of envelopes returned. Rule of thumb is the higher the number of postal voters the better it is for the conservatives given the demographics of those who use postal votes. Another rule of thumb is that any info ...

Re: Snap General Election called

Something I know all too well from my time posting with the twitter handle Boris Johnson's Mum I had on the social media side been told that so far Labour have outspent the Tories, but the Tories were aping Brexit campaign and saving a massive spend for these final few days. For myself, and I might...

Just caught up with Arlene Foster’s intervention. Funny how she’s a liar when you disagree with her but a paragon of truth when she’s on your side. Yep. It’s a terrible thing to say. Sad thing is he doesn’t really believe that but knows it plays well in Labour’s heartlands. You know you’ve messed up when you let Sturgeon take the moral high ground. Probably suits her to distract from recent poor results of Scottish schools and the plummeting tr...

Re: Snap General Election called

Tax isn’t one of Labour’s main topics?!?!?!? Are you joking. I’d assume it’s being talked about as the tax plans of the two main parties are so radically different. Both are pumping a shed load more money into the NHS. There’s not much to go at there. I’m scrolling through the content of my digital ...
