Parkes

Well it looks like he's off to Japan which is going to leave a bit of a hole in our midfield, I expect Owen Watkin to be his successor and I'd like to see Kieran Williams added to the squad asap, he shows genuine class.

Oof. What do you do for a living? My work stayed open far beyond where they should have, despite being able to operate from home, but they at least bowed to the full lockdown. The Joe Exotic documentary series is entertaining.

Robert Kennedy for President is a good watch, it makes you wonder where the decency has gone in comparison to politicians these days.

Re: Good TV Shows

Series three of Ozark is due on 27th March, I've been re-watching the 2nd series to get up to speed, I'm quite looking forward to it.

Westworld series 3 has just started on SKY Atlantic, there's a lot to it but worth investing in imo.

Re: Scotland

How much directive has there been from the gummint? Infection data from China, Iran, Italy, and Spain make it pretty clear when you can expect the hospitals to be overwhelmed. The directive from the government is to stay at home and die from what I can discern, they have said not to go to the hospi...

Arse. I did have this vague its-too-good-to-be-true feeling about ours being the only match not to be cancelled. No rugby. Or much sport of any kind, I think. Tennis has already been shut down. Annoying. Understandable but annoying. U20s playing behind closed doors at the Zipworld Stadium, it's on ...

Re: Scotland

This must be Scotland’s best chance for years to win in Cardiff. They have a rock solid team (how often have we been able to say that in recent years) and will be buoyed by their win against France. Having said that Wales are on the point of clicking even with these changes to the pack, so this cou...

Re: Next up, England

For reference, here is Lawes's effort: https://youtu.be/R_8D9c7d1dc?t=5164 Again, I'd class that as reckless and dangerous, rather than a deliberate target. Puja I don't agree, there was no change of height from either player and I can see nothing other than him leading with his shoulder directly t...

Re: Next up, England

Parkes is a bit lucky. Williams too? Parkes at least did use his arms initially which then rode up to head height and there was head to head contact. I agree he is lucky but I can see the difference between that and two shoulder charges to the head/neck area. Looks like a direct shoulder to the hea...

Re: Next game...and further afield

I don’t think there will be any changes next week unlesss forced by injury. The Scots looked decent today and in fairness this six nations has been alright for them. They did lose to Scotland and England but both were close games which could have gone the other way. They were helped by French stupi...

Re: Scotland

I think we're going to need to be very careful with Scotland tbh, their Defense has been air tight (when we gonna get Tandy home?), they can score from anywhere when they throw Townsends plan out the window and will have huge ammounts of confidence after yesterday although they Principality does se...

Re: Next up, England

Young Tomos does move the ball away quicker than both Gareth Davies and Rhys Webb (who’s on the bench at Twickenham). He’s our long term bet for 2023. Biggar has played a flatter game since being with Saints and looks more slicker than days of old. While the odds are greatly against a Wales win a h...

Other than the front row all of our forwards take lineout ball apart from Navidi iirc.

Re: Next up, England

It's a good team IF they are up to speed. Let's hope the slightly injured and the returnees are back where they need to be. Hope also Tompkins has a great game against England for the first time. The odds are against us but (with some good fortune) we've got enough to win there. Yeah, I like the lo...

Re: Good TV Shows

Started watching The Righteous Gemstones. Quite funny, it aims to do something similar to Succession but it isn't as well written. Not a single sympathetic character in it, but you're hooked into watching to see just how awful they are going to be. Would recommend. Sent from my CPH1951 using Tapata...

Strewth. Think it is going to be whoever is still walking Liam Williams is fit, North is most likely going to be fit and Biggar is looking very likely to be fit so not all doom and gloom, oh and Navidi is also fit. Interesting to see that Sam Costelow has been training with the squad, he looks to h...
