Yes, fingers crossed we hear something at some point. There is the small matter of only having Jackson and Thomson at fullback!

Re: Boxing

Ruiz’s handspeed was particularly impressive and something Joshua really struggled with. He’s also got some engine. Tyson Fury mentioned a few weeks ago on an interview with BT Sport that Ruiz is the real deal despite appearances and he was absolutely right.

Sounds like he’s been helping a lot this season and pack seem to have a bit more bite to them. Always good to have a bit of specialisation when it comes to the scrum.

I've been to a few KR games years ago and I've been making an effort to watch a bit more of it recently, though I do miss the dark arts of the breakdown.

Hopefully Rhinos can win back a bit of pride for the Super League later on.

John Cooney, Connacht scrum half born in Scotland but represented Emerging Ireland. Still time to poach him back mind.

I'd like to second George Formby. What a fabulous entertainer.

I'd also like to mention Jeff Healey as a contender.

That was some game. Would maybe have been a bit more comfortable had our lineout functioned.

Beard was incredible and really put his hand up as potential captain.

Re: The Glasgow Beach Rugby Thread

Whilst I entirely sympathise with the joggers, the way Scottish athletics has tried to portray GW as the big money boys is pretty pathetic. The Warriors have come a long way since standing at the mud in Hughenden due to the hard work of those inside the club and the fans that have been going along e...

The Late Knights Brewery in Penge, London is worth a look. They've got a nice wee pub at Gipsy Hill station that does tasting thirds and the Penge Porter is excellent. Not sure about the steam beer though, it tastes nutty which is just strange. Beer Rebellion is wicked. Hard to believe it started a...

I go to most home games. Big improvement last couple of weeks, though quite fortunate against Carnegie and Welsh by scoring tries in the last minute to win.

Muldowney was already Scottish qualified when he came to Glasgow, I assume through a grandparent or something so he would still be eligible.

Unfortunately I managed to catch the end of that. We really are the masters at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Taylor looked to have a good game.
