Re: EPS Watch / Player Form Thread

So Does Eddie go With Farrell and Slade in the middle knowing it's kind of unbalanced, or does he use this as a reason to shift Farrell back to 10, which conveniently gets rid of the Simmonds question? Devoto didn't exactly stamp his mark on the game today but I wouldn't mind seeing him given a shot...

Re: Exeter vs Wasps - Prem Final -Saturday 6 pm

I'm happy that Exeter won it, they've deserved it this season. I just can't get my head round that lineout though. I mean WTAF would make a person ignore the previous 75 mins' worth of lineout action? Gutted for poor Oghre, that just shouldn't have happened. Yep. That really was a moment that’s goi...

Re: Scots Abroad VIII (or let's spot the new messiah)

I thought he was properly good, like could have been MOTM really.

SHC looks like he has more of a solid on the field now.

Hogg a little shaky today but it looks proper awful out there. Skinner fantastic so far and looks to be doing the full 80 today, Gray just on.

Jesus Christ I can't tell which one of Austin Healey or Ben Kay are more excruciating to listen to. Truly unbearable stuff from both of them.

Weird seeing De Jongh going from nowhere this season (it seemed?) to starting in a final.

Great to see Devoto get this opportunity with Eddie watching. Would be delighted if he can show the performance of us many of think he's capable of.

Re: The Glasgow Carpet Burns and Cary Grant Appreciation Thread

I still can't believe how young Dobie looks. Could get a million or so box-kicks out of him in the next 15 years.

Turner consistently such a handful in the loose now, not that that is what we're lacking for Scotland at hooker or anything.

Re: Autumn Squad

Why do Scotland need Jones to do a job at 15? Hogg, Maitland and Kinghorn all have extensive experience there. We shouldn't let the Glasgow recruitment policies dictate national selection. Jones has yet to be tested in any meaningful club game there and Kinghorn as far as I can remember has never l...

Re: Autumn Squad

His kick off at the beginning was absolutely incredible. That would be such a weapon if he could do that consistently and his finish at the end was brilliant. Shame he’s struggling to tie everything together at this level as there’s a seriously talented player in there. His distribution game has jus...

Get ready for an extra touch of flair from the Barbarians this year. https://twitter.com/Barbarian_FC/status/1313781071318863872 This post has not aged well. Unless this was the extra flair Though I'm touched so many players put in so much effort to reinforce my view that rugby players are thick as...

Re: England side for the Barbarians game

I can see where you're coming from, but it's surely a bit much to compare to the Armitage thing. Any of those players could have made a decision not go out and the outcome would have been no different. It's a huge collective error though. I'm curious what the coaching team were aware of. Have any de...

Same old shite. Resorting to steamrollering a team below us to rack up the score rather than impose our alleged “game plan” This is not going to work against big boys. nonsense. what game plan is that? The run everything you have no doubt slammed previously? The kick everything you would no doubt s...

Re: EPS Watch / Player Form Thread

Wasn’t sure where else to post this, but having watched Scotland vs. Georgia, we can definitely use our game against the Georgians for the experimentation we missed out on with the Barbarians’ cancellation . They were really, really poor. Their scrum was competitive, but that was about it. They did...

Re: England side for the Barbarians game

It's (the idea of) Robshaw's involvement that confuses me the most. Players have been denied pulling on and England shirt and getting to play at Twickenham, regardless of crowd or quality on show that's quite a thing for someone like him to have taken away from them. They must have realised this was...

Seems like there are many different versions of events floating around, to be honest.

This is him supposedly in a group with Robshaw, who seems like the last person to intentionally break the rules and throw away his already meagre sendoff from English/European rugby.

It shouldn’t be entering anyone’s heads that Trump doesn’t “have a chance.” It really wouldn’t surprise me if he’s gained as many as he’s lost over the last few months, what with all this civil war talk and the good honest folk “standing by” for Stephen Miller version 2.0 unleashing his ultra, mega ...
