Re: England forward pack as things stand

Seems sort of relevant in case anyone is interested. https://twitter.com/charliefelix/status/1264843209819262977?s=21 Is it confirmed whether he is off yet? I’m up and down on whether he is a top, top player, but for all Launch and Lawes offer their own fantastic USPs they don’t fulfil the modern 5 ...

Re: Transfer news, fake news, baseless speculation, and various levels of truthiness - Season 2019/20

Wouldn't be surpised if the club signed him just so they can do the puns though Have we reached that point? I wonder if Sale (for example) are able to put a value on the media attention drawn from a journalist being unable to resist writing another article about the Curry twins because they've thou...

https://www.nationalmemo.com/militia-gang-threatens-police-over-shutdown-protests Radical anti government militia group threatens police - but it’s cool, they’re white. Re: Trump

Though when the alternative is Trump you can reasonably ask just how sodding stupid are these people? Clearly thick as shit, but someone might have a more eloquent take on just how retarded, precious and entitled these wankers actually are. I don’t think if I were a citizen I could bring myself to ...

If Gordon is ready to step up that would be great. Haven’t seen much of him but looks a talent.

Re: Trump

A lot of people feel a vote for Biden is another nail in the coffin of any hope to veer away from big money in politics. All these people are eating out of the same fucking trough. . Re: Trump

If one side continually capitalises on average people’s fears, insecurities, prejudices etc. and the other side offers nothing more than posturing and “we’ll try and be better than those guys, I guess” it really isn’t that surprising. A lot of people feel a vote for Biden is another nail in the coff...

Re: England forward pack as things stand

Anyone else not slightly worried Willis won’t have it at the top level.

It sounds like he’s fantastic but he keeps being spoken about as if he’s already proven himself?

Re: England forward pack as things stand

I personally am very intrigued about the possibility of a Underhill/Curry/Willis back row (Cunderhillis, if you will). They would be utter demons at ruck time. Puja They would...but we'd be lacking somewhat in the carrying department... We'd need a carrying lock, but Launch isn't in favour with Edd...

Re: It’s.......

Maria Caulfield isn’t a name I think I’d heard a few weeks back but she seems to be on an absolute rampage of being totally awful and totally wrong about basically everything.

I guess politics just naturally attracts/nurtures these kinds of people.

Re: England forward pack as things stand

I generally think yes. But then I think about the NZ semi-final. He was like the fucking terminator. Oh, he absolutely can be. But so could Joe Worsley... I don't think Underhill is anywhere near as 1 dimensional as is if often made out. I've never seen Joe Worsley play like that at international l...

Re: England forward pack as things stand

I was indeed. Ted Hill is far from an also ran. He’d be first choice 6 by now if we weren’t so well stocked there. A very impressive player in how he’s stepped up. Interesting to hear so many in here saying similar. I haven’t watched him much at all recently and thought he was still considered a ‘p...

Re: England forward pack as things stand

I didn’t rate Hill when I first saw him for the U20s but I’ve been really impressed by him for Worcester. He’s massively physical both as a carrier and as a defender and is already an accomplished lineout forward as well as having a good turn on pace. I’m going to stick my neck out here and say I t...

Well, this is a GREAT way to talk it all thru isn't it. Well done, really impressive. Sent from my CPH1951 using Tapatalk Haha. Re: Scoring against the post protector

Completely agree with this, especially after the 3rd paragraph in that article, i.e. teams were intentionally lifting the goddamn post pillows to prevent a score What the hell is wrong with people. Also it's about time Which rolled by with the Haskell gif Good point: https://farm2.staticflickr.com/...

Re: England forward pack as things stand

Any chance of a big lock, mobile or otherwise? ;) My mate Gary is 6'10" and horrendously overweight. He's 45, never played rugby and I don't think he even likes it but he's English qualified. Worth a shot? His fitness and hand-eye co-ordination are pretty poor but 6'10" - 22 stone 7lb loo...
