Re: Terf me out...

Not that I really want to go down this path again, but this made me lol, hard... https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/18/anyone-allowed-identify-black-regardless-skin-colour-11173537/ The Universities and Colleges Union says that regardless of skin tone, people should be able to say if they identify as black...

Re: Does anything else really matter?

Well some of the responses have illuminated exactly why we've put the planet in this position. "But the climate changes anyway" "We cant fix everything at once so lets do nothing" "I've reviewed the actual science and the earth is healing itself" I get better critical t...

Re: RE: Re: Best of the rest

So do the SRU know their fans or not? Some of these replies are hilarious. https://twitter.com/Scotlandteam/status/1190269196300640256 Was a nice gesture IMO. SA too good today. England never really got into the game. Jones probably should have taken Mako off after 30. Yeah, for all the stories abo...

Re: Next Coach?

leave him at Edinburgh FFS, lets get some stability in the pro teams, let him try and build something meaningful. Scottish rugby needs successful pro teams more than it needs another brief go on the intl coaching merrygoround.

Re: Best of the rest

81 kicks in that game and I'm surprised it was that few. Evidently you can play successful rugby that way but it will be terrible for the game if everyone copies it. Therefore I'll be supporting England in the final. Wales Ireland South Africa all doing it to greater or lesser extents. Scotland try...

Re: Best of the rest

2nd half was better but much as I admire AWJ and would've loved to see him in a final... struggling to muster much sympathy for wales there, point blank refused to play rugby for the first 60 minutes, can hardly go crying about losing in the end.

Re: Best of the rest

England were unbelievable there, absolutely dominated NZ who very quickly ran out of ideas. I'd say England were favourites for the cup now.

On the bbc website that there's an alarming drop in numbers playing in NZ too. We'll all be tier 2 soon.

Re: RE: Re: The Glasgow Carpet Burns and Cary Grant Appreciation Thread

Jones still not really fancied by Rennie. I just can't get my head around it. What has happened to him? he is only on the bench because warriors have not fit viable wing cover. And when Johnson and Horne return, he will be behind them as well. And he knows why. Up to him You're not really answering...

Re: RE: Re: Best of the rest

Any thoughts on here on the semis. I've seen a lot of people saying they are too close to call but I think there are two clear favourites. Wales v SA - Wales are very hard to dismiss because they have a remarkable habit of winning without looking that impressive. If they start well they could do it...

Re: The Glasgow Carpet Burns and Cary Grant Appreciation Thread

Seeing several reports of D Rennie being looked at by the ARU to replace Chubby. Anyone got anything more on that? I haven't particularly enjoyed watching his Glasgow team, tbh, although they have undeniably had plenty of great moments... just seem a little flaky when push comes to shove, and every ...

Couple of articles in the press today that are pretty stark. David Barnes in the herald giving some data on playing numbers and suggests of the 37000 r...

We, me and her, were talking about modern incarnations of super-folk. And we were talking about best as in most useful in the various modern versions of their films. Both my girls loved Captain Marvel, the hero - they weren't too impressed with the film, and both were pretty disgusted at how badly u...

Feels like SA have got this totally worked out, for all Japan’s passing along the line and little darting runs, they aren’t getting anywhere.
