Re: Swing low, should it go?

I don't spend my time thinking about how a golliwog isn't racist, mostly as I don't spend anytime thinking about golliwogs, or racism tbh . But if presented with an example I'd try to take it in context. That's very much a key point, you (and I) don't have to think about it, but that is an imme...

Re: Team news for Ireland.

Yeah, that last one was the red card I referenced earlier. Looks even worse the more I see it. Puja Something happened a couple of seconds before that as well but I forget what. I was screaming at the telly at that point. That and the take out of May were ridiculous errors by the officials. Has any...

Re: Sale vs Leicester

Saw this live with my 9 year old on some free tickets, we were in row B on one of the five metre lines. From that limited view it felt pretty much as Puja describes it. Felt quite sorry for our number 8 for one of the second half tries, he'd clearly injured himself in the previous ruck and limped ou...

They're probably dead busy front-loading all the contracts into this season seeing as they're already in breach and have been punished for it.

Re: Are Saracens about to get automatically relegated?

It's hard to feel ANY sympathy for them at all. It looks both intentional and moronic. This is pretty much my view. As is often the way with the very rich, I imagine that Wray will still be convinced that he was in the right and that if he's not allowed to play by his terms then he's taking his bal...

Re: Snap General Election called

Whole thing leaves me thinking that the only sensible thing to do now as a vaguely left leaning individual of any colour is to join the labour party so at least you get a vote on the next party leader. There's a hell of a lot more moderates who want Labour closer to the centre than denialist JC fanb...

Expect an unchanged 23 except possibly Frizell for Todd if the latter is injured.

And hence the expected margin of victory is less than 30 points?

I see Danny Care is out there as well doing some punditry. Is he injured? Or would he be available for a call-up if Youngs/Heinz goes down injured? I assume he's I jured - otherwise Quins would surely want him at home On the BBC rugby podcast, Danny Care has been in recording from the UK, but wasn'...

Re: Is it too early to start moaning about the refereeing?

Whereas if they'd stayed the course and Hodge, Lee-Lo, and Matu'u had all got red cards, not only would we likely have had two more shocks this RWC, we'd also not see a high tackle for the rest of the tournament as everyone realised that they actually meant it. As it is, t he U20s RWC is now being ...

That is a hell of a pic. To be fair, LCD is in shot just hidden behind the welsh guy in the scrum cap. Good job too as Manu would've been turned over if he hadn't got to the resulting ruck sharpish. (I only spotted him after going to rugbydump to watch the video and check that the photo wasn't a fake.

Re: Itoje: More racism in football than rugby because football fans are less educated

I think that much more of a factor than education is that people only go to watch rugby in the UK because they want to watch the game (or have been dragged there by friends/relatives). Football has an ongoing history of association with far-right groups who I would guess tend to be less educated tha...
