Re: Good TV Shows

Started watching The Righteous Gemstones. Quite funny, it aims to do something similar to Succession but it isn't as well written. Not a single sympathetic character in it, but you're hooked into watching to see just how awful they are going to be. Would recommend. Sent from my CPH1951 using Tapata...

Re: Trump

The US is fucked. We're fucked. 4 more years are nailed on. I can't see Biden beating Trump. An incoherent, dribbling wreck may make for a good GOP President, but Biden is not someone I think the Dems could spin into 1600 Pensylvania Avenue. Trump has no idea on anything and can barely string senten...

Re: So how long will Joe be on extended leave then?

I've got no problem with players being cited for suspected foul play, but lets make it consistent, shall we? A couple of Welsh players could easily have been put in the dock and it was extraordinary that Ryan didn't get a tap on the shoulder for his antics in the previous game. This. It makes no se...

At the time I winced when I saw it and was a bit surprised that it didn't seem to merit on on field review.

Re: Team news for Wales

Also what's the difference between that Tuilagi failed attempt at a tackle on North and some of those Ireland clearcuts from the previous game? Bar the Ireland hits were more intentional (not that I object to Manu getting a red) When it comes to sly digs, off-the-ball stuff, obstruction, holding pl...

Re: Team news for Wales

Yup, the clue seems to be in the name. It's almost like a Head Injury Assessment is the right way to Assess the severity of otherwise of a Head Injury. Unfortunately, this seems to have been missed but just about everyone in rugby, thought the Welsh medical staff seem to be about the worst out ther...

Re: Team news for Wales

We seem consistently unable to deal with teams getting “on a roll”. We start giving away penalties, we don’t stop, we concede a lot of points in a short while. I don’t like the reffing style of suddenly penalizing everything the team on the back foot does, though. There were a lot of Wales infringe...

Re: Team news for Wales

Looked to me like he hit his shoulder/right side of his chest and not his head. Didn’t help that he was on his knees by the time Tuilagi got there. Yellow, fair enough. Red absolutely not. Yellow/red...makes no difference as we would've still been down to 13 for the last few mins. It was at least a...

Sadly passed away at the age of 41. Far too young.

Very talented player.

Re: U20s v Wales

Only watched bits of it, but we didn't deserve to win, 4 tries or not. The Welsh fly half was good tbh. Peach of a try...shoddy defence but it was quality. 18 points from the lad. Too many mistakes and poor discipline from our lads. I thought we fucked up the bp try as the try scoring pass was given...

Re: Trump

What's up with Biden?

Are we seeing unfavourable edits of speeches or is this shit for real?

If it's real, wtf is going on? How on earth can the dems hope he can beat Trump?

Is Trump staying in better than Bernie having a crack?

So many questions.

Re: RE: Re: Trump

@Morepork You're gonna love this... Trump asked pharmaceutical execs if the flu vaccine could be used to stop the coronavirus. I mean that would be an acceptable question from a layperson that had just entered the room, but is not for someone who had scheduled a meeting with authority with the expr...

You could start by having a functional public broadcaster that isn't Fox Gnus. Speaking of stupid, I have just seen the exchange between him and Pharma execs, with the room trying so hard to help him process the concept of drug development and testing in requisite phases for both safety and efficac...

Re: Team news for Ireland.

I'm almost ready to start watching the game back. In advance I'm expecting to see an England side who make a fast start and dominate the collisions win a game of rugby even though they couldn't do much with the physical dominance I'm interested to hear both your assessment of Lawes as a 6 and also ...

https://twitter.com/Smallclone_/status/1231596338946678784 I didn't watch the match. Resigned myself to defeat based on selection so decided to ride 85 km instead. Seen the short highlights since and currently downloading the match... So, I take it Ireland played with 14 for most of the match? That...

Wales still enjoying a good bit of the Gatland & Edwards residual effect. The further they get from that era the more inconsistent they’ll become I reckon. There’s some gold in there, but also a fair bit of weakness. Can see a rocky 2/3 years for them. I think Pivac is a good fit for them and c...
