Uncapped squad

Postby cashead » Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:48 am

OK, so let's say the incoming Welsh and Scottish tour does go ahead. Wales and Scotland both arrive in time to get some training in after the 14-day self-isolation period like the responsible good boys that they are. Unfortunately, the All Blacks squad, all of whom are capped, have gone overseas for some unfathomable reason and are unavailable. The NZRU has seen the cut of your gibberish and have decided to have you select a squad of uncapped players to play the test matches. 3 hookers, 5 props, 5 locks, 6 loose forwards, 3 halfbacks, 2 first-fives, 4 midfielders, 5 back three-quarters

Hookers
Ash Dixon (Highlanders)
Kurt Eklund (Blues)
Ricky Riccitelli (Hurricanes)

Props
Oliver Jager (Crusaders)
Ben May (Hurricanes)
Reuben O'Neill (Chiefs)
Marcel Renata (Blues)
Aidan Ross (Chiefs)

Locks
Michael Allardice (Chiefs)
Gerard Cowley-Tuioti (Blues)
Quinten Strange (Crusaders)
Jack Whetton (Highlanders)

Lock/Loose Forward
Mitchell Dunshea (Crusaders)
Tom Robinson (Blues)

Loose Forwards
Tom Christie (Crusaders)
Blake Gibson (Blues)
Tom Sanders (Crusaders)
Hoskins Sotutu (Blues)

Halfbacks
Bryn Hall (Crusaders)
Sam Nock (Blues)
Jonathan Taumateine (Hurricanes)

Five-Eighths
Otere Black (Blues)
James Marshall (Hurricanes)

Midfielders
TJ Faiane (Blues)
Alex Nankivell (Chiefs)
Rob Thompson (Highlanders)
Thomas Umaga-Jensen (Highlanders)

Back Three-quarters
Leicester Fainga'anuku (Crusaders)
Wes Goosen (Hurricanes)
Will Jordan (Crusaders)
Shaun Stevenson (Chiefs)
Mark Telea (Blues)
