Ben Youngs being linked to Northampton saints if Talks with Tigers fail as the Daily Mail headline.

Never has a rumour left me so torn and confused.
I don't really want Youngs as a Tigers next year especially since it will cost us 300,000+ BUT too saints........

I certainly do not want Ben Youngs at Saints. Let's hope its agent talk and nothing more. Doesn't seem to fit with Boyd's MO either.

I would actually be very pleased to see him go given his recent performances, and have no fear about him going to a rival as I think he'd actually be a deficit as things stand. However, I don't really want him blocking Mitchell's way to a starting shirt and thus the England 9 shirt.

Me too.
But I could see Boyd potentially getting him back to somewhat his old self.

It would be best for Tigers if Youngs wasn't here next season IMO, and if that means Ford and May also off so be it. (nice extra 1 million + of cap free I guess)

TRP Rumours:

Ben Youngs - Leicester >>> Northampton
Nick Schonert - Worcester >>> Gloucester
Callum Braley - Gloucester >>> Treviso
Gary Graham - Newcastle >>> Glasgow
Lima Sopoaga - Wasps >>> ???

I really like the way Saints are playing under Boyd. Youngs would most likely change that, but not for the better.

J May going back to glos would be a great move for him.

Looks like they’ve already got another Jonny May in the making, but yes.

Happy with all three of those. Sharples isn’t getting much game time this season, having May back would be great, wing though is not really a problem position for Glos. Braley leaving I can live with, Schonert would be a good asset.

Gloucester are getting linked with most of the decent tightheads who are out of contract. I might be putting 2 + 2 together and making a number other than 4, but it looks like Balmain will definitely be off at the end of his contract. Not sure what will happen with Dreyer?

Don’t think any of us know what will happen with Dreyer after a year out of the game, Balmain had a phenomenal season last year, not heard that he might be off but then again what do I know!!? A top class tight head coming in would be some good news

Quins were in the running for him too. Think he’s a great signing, loving what saints are doing this year

Apparently he can play at 8 too. Quite an unusual two positions to go together, hooker and No. 8

Charles Puitau re-signs with Bristol! Decent back 3 for Bristol next season.

Would like Radradra at 13 though with Protheroe, Morahan and Puitau as the back three

Is he much of a centre? I’m never sure because there’s nothing they love more in the Top14 than randomly sticking strike wingers in the centre.

I've not seen too much of Bristol but has Puitau been value for money so far?

He's definately worth the money. On the pitch he tops the league’s metres made charts with 551 in just five games. He has beaten 24 defenders and made six clean breaks. But, that doesn't even touch on the assists he has made and the space he creates for others. He also applied for, and got, the player lead role in the community rugby progreamme, so he's active off the pitch as well.

2019 stats from Rugby pass:
Points 30
Tries 6
Metres 799
Runs 143
Defenders Beaten 45
Clean Breaks 12
Passes 82
Try Assists 14

Yeah, if he’d been fit more, he’d have been Briz best player, absolutely immense. As it was, Luatua was also excellent but fit for the whole season.
